Last month, Kelly Clarkson performed at the Grammy Awards and took home a trophy. Now she's hoping to do the same at next month's Academy of Country Music Awards.
Kelly has been announced as one of the performers on this year's ACM telecast, which will air on CBS on April 7, live from Las Vegas. She's nominated in the category of Vocal Event of the Year for "Don't Rush," her duet with country music icon Vince Gill. Last year, she won two ACM Awards for "Don't You Wanna Stay," her duet with Jason Aldean.
It's not clear what Kelly will perform on the telecast, though it's been rumored that "Ain't Gonna Like This," the brand-new song that she debuted last week in Nashville at a music industry event, will be her next single released to country radio, so perhaps she'll sing that.
Also performing on the ACM show this year: Voice coach Blake Shelton, The Band Perry and Hunter Hayes.
