Community All-Stars Camarillo Christmas Parade

2021 Camarillo Christmas Parade “Community All-Stars”
Saturday, December 11, 10am

Pleasant Valley Recreation & Park District (District) is proud to announce the 2021 Camarillo Christmas Parade, brought to you in partnership with the City of Camarillo, and Title Sponsor, Visit Camarillo. The District is overjoyed to bring back the full-blown Christmas Parade, in all its usual grandeur. Last year’s parade was altered due to COVID safety concerns, but this year, we are looking to bring the parade back at full strength.

The parade starts 10am at Temple Avenue, travels down Las Posas, turns onto Carmen Dr. and ends at the Community Center, located at 1605 E. Burnley St. in Camarillo.

The 2021 parade theme is “Community All-Stars”. In honoring the integral persons in our lives and all of their achievements this past year, the District decided to use the Camarillo Christmas Parade to highlight our community all-stars. Entries are encouraged to celebrate an individual within their organization, community, or family who has made an especially positive impact on their lives in 2020/2021. The “Community All-Stars” theme expresses an athletic team effort and being a valuable member of the community.

In lieu of selecting a specific Grand Marshall, entries are encouraged to highlight the individual who has been the all-star of their group this past year.

Parade entry applications are now available online at www.pvrpd.org. This festive holiday event features entries in the following categories: Automotive, Equestrian, Band, Float/Specialty & Balloon. The entry fee is $55 and applications must be submitted by Nov. 5.

Santa’s Village will be open 9am-2pm at the Community Center, where the parade will end. Do your holiday shopping at a variety of holiday vendor booths and enjoy some tasty snacks from food vendors while you peruse informational booths. Vendor applications will be available soon. Vendor fee is $125 and must be submitted by Nov. 5.
Public health and safety will be of the utmost importance during the parade, and all current COVID guidance, as recommended by the CDC, State of California, and County of Ventura will be observed.
Check Pleasant Valley Recreation & Park District’s website at www.pvrpd.org for further details about the parade as they become available.
